What is DLP® Technology?

DLP® technology by Texas InstrumentsTM is based on a unique semiconductor known as the Digital Micromirror Device. This DMD is a fast, reflective digital light switch. It can be combined with image processing, memory, a light source and optics to form a DLP® system capable of projecting large, bright, seamless, high-contrast colour images with unmatched colour fidelity and consistency. The Dell 2400MP incorporates the latest generation of Single chip DLP® technology which now features a 2- degree mirror tilt for high brightness, a new manufacturing process to deliver excellent contrast and LVDS memory for smooth video reproduction.
