Multitask in your home office or kitchen with the 15-inch, HD-ready Philips 15PF5120 LCD TV, which can also double as a PC monitor. It features a built-in, 181-channel NTSC TV tuner, and can receive high-definition television broadcasts with an optional HD receiver. This XGA LCD display has a widescreen HD resolution of 1024 x 768p pixels, and it produces brilliant flicker-free progressive scan pictures with optimum brightness and superb colors. It also provides up to a 1280 x 768-pixel resolution from a PC source (at a 60 Hz refresh rate) via the DVI input.It features Philips' Crystal Clear III video processing, which combines a whole range of enhancements to provide a better picture, including a dynamic contrast, blue stretch and green enhancement for the most natural looking colors. This set includes a tabletop stand, but it's also wall-mountable with optional kit (VESA compatible).The 15PF5120 has a 4:3 native aspect ratio for standard television broadcasts, but will adjust to widescreen 16:9 for high-definition programming. It features a 16 ms (millisecond) response time, 140-degree horizontal viewing angle, 400 cd/m2 (candela per square meter) brightness rating, and a 450:1 contrast ratio. The Auto Sound function provides pre-defined sound settings for ultra bass, bass, treble and balance for the optimum audio performance. Other features include an anti-reflection coated screen, auto volume leveler, sleep timer, and V-Chip parental controls.This set has two built-in stereo speakers that produce 3 watts per channel (for 6 watts of total power). It can produce an immersive surround sound field via Philips' exclusive Incredible Surround audio technology, which mixes sounds from left and right in such a way that it expands the virtual distance between the two speakers. This wider spread greatly enhances the stereo effect and creates a more natural sound dimension.
